Management Of Nosebleeds

One of the blood vessels in the lining of the nose rupture, causing a nosebleed. Infection, injury, allergic response, nose picking, and anything shoved into the nostril can all result in nosebleeds. The term "nosebleed" also refers to epistaxis.

Children frequently get nosebleeds, which are typically not dangerous. If nosebleeds are severe, persistent, or frequent, get medical help.

Symptoms of nosebleeds

  • Bleeding from either or both nostrils
  • A sensation of flowing liquid at the back of the throat
  • The urge to swallow frequently.
